ADVANTAGES

Poultry Puck® is a unique gel delivery hydrating system that allows chicks or poults to stay dry and comfortable while taking in a clean source of water. The pucks are entirely consumed during the transportation and in holdovers so there is no messy clean up afterward.  The gel pucks can be placed in the trays used to transfer birds from the hatchery to the barn.  Chicks receiving this method of hydration can improve livability.

Additionally, the hot water (80°C) used in the preparation as well as the sealed sausage- like casing helps to keep the pucks commercially sterile, which is another unique feature of Poultry Puck® not present in other hydrating products for poultry.
